Academic License Agreement
The University of Washington (UW) and Professor Werner Kaminsky (Developer) give permission for you and your laboratory (Institution) to perform and display the WinTensor software, a program with which representation surfaces are created from crystallographic data, (WinTensor), provided that:
1. Institution is a non-profit research institution;
2. The WinTensor software remains at your Institution and is not published, distributed, or otherwise transferred or made available to anyone other than Institution employees and students involved in your research in your laboratory under your supervision.
If you wish to obtain WinTensor for any commercial purposes, you will need to execute a separate licensing agreement with the University of Washington and pay a fee. This includes, but is not limited to, using WinTensor to provide services to outside parties for a fee or selling WinTensor to other parties. In that case please contact:

3. You provide the Developer with feedback on the use of the WinTensor software in your research and teaching. All bug reports and technical questions shall be sent to: wernerka@u.washington.edu
4. If utilization of the WinTensor software results in outcomes which will be published, please acknowledge Dr. Werner Kaminsky and the University of Washington.
5. Any risk associated with using the WinTensor software at Institution is solely with Institution. WinTensor is experimental in nature and is made available as a research courtesy "AS IS"; without obligation by UW to provide accompanying services or support. UW AND DEVELOPER EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ANY AND ALL WARRANTIES REGARDING THE SOFTWARE, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES PERTAINING TO INFRINGEMENT, MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
